no, you can not use a regular phone for VoIP, unless you use a BPA…most sales ppl dont even know about it….here is how you look for it…turn the phone around and llok in the back…if it has a plug (RJ11) then you know its for a landline…it got to say VoIP only…on it…I send you a link…the Base phone usually has a build in router( you wont see it)…then you can have up to 10 extensions.
