Yes, provided that the satellite company provides Internet access. It costs more than regular land line Internet. there is one catch to it though – it needs a land line. the reason for this is so that it can send a signal out from your computer.

satellite co. -> modem hardware ($$$) -> your computer -> phone line -> satellite co. {think of this in a circular setup with satellite co. as the first step.}

there is one out there though that we are getting tomorrow that actually sends the signal back to the satellite, but you don’t get TV with it, it is strictly Internet only.
