If your cell’s SIM card gets disabled, can you get anything off of it… like pictures or phone numbers?


My cell phone’s SIM card recently got disabled… due to suggestions from friends on what to enter for the PIN and PUK numbers. Obviously those suggestions were wrong. After researching the problem, I figured out the solution…. but it was too late, lol. I just want to know if you can get any information off the SIM card once it is disabled. I want things like pictures, phone numbers, and ringtones. Also is it at all possible to enable the card instead of having to get a new one. I dont know if it makes a difference, but my wireless carrier is AT&T.

You carrier makes a lot of difference. But the only thing stored on sim cards is contacts and account info. Pics and ringtones are stored in the phone’s memory and are unique to the phone, not the user.
