Motorola Xoom also has the attractive feature of resizing the desktop widgets; this was made possible with the upgrade of the OS from Android 3.0 to 3.1. The FaceTime of this Android tablet compared with Apple iPad is also observed to be better as it provides a wider user base. One of the most attractive features of Motorola Xoom is the battery life. It has a stand-by time of approximately 14 days, MP3 playback of 3.3 days and video playback time of 10 hours. However, there is a drawback of the Android tablet having no SD card slot for additional memory and there is still lack of application selection.

Regardless, Motorola Xoom Android Tablet has impressive display quality and is better for individuals who love multi-tasking, as this allows for faster and easier multi-tasking compared to Apple’s iPad. The camera application of the Android Tablet is better than Apple’s as there are more features packed in the application. Most importantly, the easy availability of applications for not only Motorola Xoom but all Google Tablets is another major advantage over Apple Tablets whose applications need to be purchased just via iTunes App Store. Conclusively, Apple’s Tablet PCs might be on the top and preferred by most, but there are various Android tablets which directly compete with Apple’s products and are worth looking into for purchase consideration.
