How to get a CECT P168 TelePHONE (the ‘I-cone’) to work on the 02 (uk) network?


Hi
I have aCECT P168 TelePHONE (the I-clone) that I can’t register to the mm02 (uk) network. Vodafone and Orange are fine but 02 doesn’t want to know. I can see the signal coming in and it registers ‘emergency’ calls only so it must see something but I am unable to make or receive calls or do texts. I’ve been through the menus and found the list of networks to connect to via home-system-settings-network setup(4) – preferred networks (2) – add from list – scroll down and select,but the 02 ones don’t work. Other than this it’s fine and works ok.
any ideas please?
what am I doing wrong?
I tried the second sim position but get the same. Orange and Vodafone work fine in both sim positions
