Should I remove an old SIM card from an old cell phone?

I got a new phone with new SIM card and I can erase all addresses from the old phone, is there any danger to selling or donating the phone with its old SIM card in it?

Nope. IF the SIM is not ID’d to you. Just clear everything. But there is risk if you gave that number to any workplace or business or even bank.

I would chuck the SIM. It doesn’t cost too much.
