What’s the best way to sell my old home phone?

I have a home phone (5.8GHz Chordless Telephone Answering System 5840 with Caller ID/Call Waiting) with 6 additional handsets (Expansion Handset 5800) that I’m trying to get rid of for a couple of bucks. It’s pretty well used, but there has to be a way to make some money off it, maybe someone who wants the battery packs or something. What would be the best way to get rid of it? Is there a sell your old electronics website that takes old home phones? Would e-bay be my best bet? If I were to sell it on e-bay, what would be the best way to do it?

5.8 meh… DECT would have been better…
rechargeable batteries are only good for 2-5 years, so used rechargeable batteries really have no resale value… not to mention they can be had new for pretty cheap….

you are not going to get much for a used cordless phone… i would say a yard sale or craigslist… otherwise you can consider donating it to the salvation army or something for a tax receipt…
